Alan obtained his professional qualifications through the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast, where he graduated with distinction and, following completion fo a two year apprenticeship, was admitted to practice in 2003.

Over the subsequent 5 years of practice at a top tier firm in Northern Ireland he has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in all manner of corporate and commercial matters including company, partnership and LLP "start ups", mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, management buy outs, buy ins, shareholders disputes, joint ventures, franchising and commercial agency.

He moved to Gibraltar and joined Triay & Triay in September 2008 and works within the Corporate & Commercial department, specialising in company law and corporate transactions. His breadth of experience does allow him to advise clients on a full range of corporate and commercial matters.
