Additional information: J.E.Triay, QC, is the son of one of the firm's founders, the late S.P.Triay, KC, and became the senior partner in 1972. Appointed Queen's Counsel in 1982, he is particularly well reputed in the area of Litigation.

Described by Chambers & Partners as a " legend on the local scene" and a "deeply impressive man", and by PLC Which Lawyer? as a "leading and highly regarded lawyer". He is undertaking less court work now and is moving away from contentious matters, however, he is nevertheless still very highly regarded.
