Triay & Triay are delighted to announce the appointment of Helen Murphy and Mark Perez to the role of associate within the Firm following their call to the Gibraltar Bar on the 4th December 2020.

Helen Murphy has been enrolled as a Solicitor and Mark Perez has been admitted as a Barrister and acting Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Gibraltar following their respective legal training with the Firm.

Helen Murphy has been working at Triay & Triay since September 2019 as a trainee, where she undertook seats in Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Commercial and Private Client. Helen initially read Law at the University of Sunderland, graduating with a First-Class Honours in 2015 as well as a Higher Diploma in Paralegal Studies. Thereafter, she completed the LLM in Legal Practice and Legal Practice Course with Distinction from the University of Sunderland in 2017. Prior to joining Triay & Triay, Helen worked as an Underwriter at a Gibraltar-based motor insurance company. Helen will now work closely with the Financial Services and Dispute Resolution Teams.

Mark Perez has been working at Triay & Triay since September 2019 as a trainee, where he undertook seats in Corporate and Commercial, Private Client and Dispute Resolution. Mark read History BA (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University. He subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law, Bar Professional Training Course and a master’s in law at the same institution. Mark was called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2018 by the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple. Prior to joining Triay and Triay, Mark experienced a number of different areas of law having worked as a paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing and Employment Departments at a leading East Midlands law firm. Mark will now work closely with the Corporate and Commercial Team and the Employment Team.
