Ray Pilley, a former RAF fast jet pilot and instructor was admitted to the role of solicitors in England & Wales in 1981 and called to the Bar in Gibraltar in 1988. After running his own highly successful practice for almost 15 years he joined Triay & Triay in 2006. Ray could best be described as an approachable all rounder but spends the majority of his time dealing with criminal cases at all levels, conveyancing and matrimonial.

He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Bar of Gibraltar, sits as legal advisor to the Medical Registration Board. He is also the principal advisor to three Building Society's in Gibraltar and is a member of the criminal reform committee. For the past ten years he has carried out almost every special examination in Gibraltar, and he sits on the Admissions & Disciplinary Committee from time to time, and as occasional chairman to the Industrial Tribunal.
