Called to the Bar: 1980
Freddie was admitted to the Bar in England at the Honorable Society of the Inner Temple and practiced in London for a period before joining the Bar in Gibraltar in 1980. He was a Partner at Vasquez Benady prior to its merger with Triay. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2003.
He is a Partner and forms part of the general and commercial litigation team, with particular emphasis on contractual, landlord and tenant, trust and banking disputes and interim remedies relating to these.
He is a CEDR accredited, and one of Gibraltar’s foremost, mediators.
Chambers Global has singled Freddie out as “extremely able and experienced”, maintaining his solid reputation in dispute resolution and representing clients in key civil and commercial litigation cases.
