Joanna is a Senior Associate and forms part of the Dispute Resolution team.
Joanna primarily focuses on family matters, with particular involvement in divorce and financial remedies consequent on marital breakdown. She has also advised in a wide range of child-related matters, and has assisted clients with and represented their interests in mediation. Joanna also assists in matters of general civil and commercial litigation.
Joanna is a member of Resolution, a UK national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems. She has also co-authored the Gibraltar Chapter in Practical Law’s Global Guide to the ’International Relocation of Children’.
Joanna read English Literature and History at the University of Liverpool, graduating with an Upper Second-class BA (Hons). She subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School, thereafter achieving a commendation for the Legal Practice Course. Joanna joined the firm in September 2016, and was called to Bar in Gibraltar in October 2017 upon completing her training contract with the Firm.
