Kayleigh-Anne is a Trainee Lawyer and is currently assisting both the Corporate & Commercial and Financial Services teams, having just completed her training within the Dispute Resolution and Personal Injuries team.
Kayleigh-Anne worked in the Land Registry Department from 2017 to 2021. Prior to her employment in the Land Registry, she was employed as a Conveyancing Assistant at a local, well established law firm, working exclusively for the Senior Partner on all Property and Conveyancing matters along with assisting the Public Notary in the drawing up of Notarial Certificates and certification of documents.
She completed the LLB (Hons) with the Open University in 2021 whilst employed full-time with the Land Registry. During her Undergraduate studies, Kayleigh-Anne worked closely with the Open Justice Law Clinic in Rawtenstall, a Pro-Bono project where members of the public received free legal advice under the supervision of a qualified Solicitor.
Kayleigh-Anne completed the Bar Training Course with Cardiff University in June 2022 and was called to the Bar of England & Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in July 2022.
Finally, Kayleigh-Anne undertook a Masters in Law (LLM) during the Summer of 2022 and her thesis was titled: “Are current Special Measures appropriate and/or adequate in dealing with issues posed by victims in child sex abuse cases”.
