The Gibraltar Government has published the Prediction Market Regulations 2026 under the Gambling Act 2025 (the “Regulations”).
This positions Gibraltar as a first-mover in the prediction market space with specifically designed regulations.
In publishing the Regulations, in which prediction markets are recognised as a distinct activity, separate from betting, gaming or lotteries, Gibraltar is establishing a new regulated market opportunity.
