Joseph A. Gomez CPM (Jay)

Jay Snr is a member of the Middle Temple and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2009 and subsequently in Gibraltar in 2012, when he joined Triay & Triay following his retirement as a Superintendent in the Royal Gibraltar Police. He was awarded the Colonial Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2010 in recognition of his services.

Jay Snr is a member of the dispute resolution team and regularly advises clients in relation to employment and criminal law employment-related matters given his extensive background and experience in criminal law and executive management. He is the mainstay of the firm’s thriving practice in contentious employment matters. His reputation, commercial acumen, local knowledge and contact base mean that he represents a mix of both national and international employers and Gibraltar employees on all aspects of employment law and human resource matters.

He also advises Private Clients in respect of Gibraltar residency, immigration, Category II and Higher Executive Possessing Specialist Skills (HEPSS) applications.
